THREE SIMPLE DAILY GREETINGS

  • Buenos días [good mooning and it is used in the mornings until after midday]
  • Buenas tardes [good afternoon and it is used in the afternoons until the sun set]
  • Buenas noches [good night and it is used in the evenings and to say good bye before going to bed]

THREE SIMPLE WAYS OF SAYING HELLO

  • Hola [Hello]
  • ¿Hola que tal? [Hello, how are you?]
  • Hola, Buenos días [Hello, good morning]

THREE SIMPLE WAYS OF SAYING GOOD-BYE

  • Adios [good-bye]
  • Hasta luego [see you later]
  • Chau [this is a very informal way of saying good-bye]

Meaning: Used to justify an advantage, though an essential feature or function is missing or defective.
